In some of the half past selber schuld shows, there are live scenes so precise that the audience is never quite sure if they are watching a pre-produced film or an impossible trick.
In this workshop, the directors of half past selber schuld pull back the curtain to reveal the secrets behind their powerful, handmade live performance techniques. While this intricate shadow art looks impossible to perform live, it is actually a skill anyone can master with the right understanding—and a few vintage overhead projectors.
What to expect: We will work together to create a short scene using OHP techniques. No prior experience is needed.
Participants: Limited to 15 participants, from 18 years old. Puppeteers, actors, dancers, artists, educators and interested participants in general.
