Join filmmaker Alex U. Griffin for an inspiring workshop that brings the art of puppet filmmaking into your own home! Designed for all skill levels, this class explores creative techniques for making captivating short films with puppets, no matter your budget or space. Alex will guide participants through the essentials with easily accessible materials and equipment.
By the end of the workshop, students will:
• understand the key aspects of puppetry on camera.
• Learn fundamental film concepts such as image design, lighting, and composition.
• Receive an introduction to production planning.
• Shoot a short puppet film together (and, if possible, edit it).
Participants: Limited to 15 participants. For artists, educators, and curious creators of all ages!
