Robin Frohardt (USA) is an award-winning theatre and film director known for her expressive aesthetic and highly detailed constructions. In her narrative films, puppet shows, and sculptures, she uses familiar materials, often trash, to create richly detailed worlds that make magic of the mundane and highlight the trivialities of daily life.
For her theatre work, she has received a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Creative Capital Award, several Jim Henson Foundation grants, and the Herb Alpert Prize.
